Updates
Windows 7 End-of-Life
Windows 7 will no longer be allowed on the campus network after January 14, 2020. Microsoft will stop supporting Windows 7 with security updates after that day. If you desperately need to keep Windows 7, please contact metroit@ucdavis.edu for information on exceptions and paying to extend support.
This also applies to server versions Windows 2008 and Windows 2008 R2.
Upgrades to Windows 10 32-bit and 64-bit are no-cost to university systems in LAWR, ETOX, and WFCB due to our purchasing into the Microsoft Consolidated Campus Agreement (MCCA).
